Joey and surgery

Joey had to have surgery after he jumped off his 4 wheeler and broke his knee.

When we were visiting with the doctor Joey and I discussed the fact that he needed to buy some underwear since he would be wearing a hospital gown. So we went to WM and picked up some. When we arrived the morning of surgery the nurse told Joey he had to take off everything! he asked if he had to take off his underwear and she said yes. Well he didn't want to, so he didn't!

When he came back from surgery, he was still loopy and tired... I asked him if he still had his underwear on and he said he thought so. Well I checked and he didn't! Haha. The nurses took them off. Joey went off about his underwear! He kept asking for his underwear and said he liked them and he wanted them back! The nurse couldn't find them and neither could we, but finally we did under the bed.

He doesn't remember any of it!

anniversary date to Cheesecake Factory

Joey took me to the Cheesecake Factory for our 3rd Anniversary! We had such a nice night out. It was only our 2nd time of the year to get to go out alone. I had strawberry cheesecake and he had some super chocolate-y chocolate cake! For dinner he had some spicy chicken pasta dish, and I had chicken and biscuits.

Granny watched Jeremiah for us and Tyler watched Josiah! Josiah had such a great time with Uncle Tyler and asked us if we could go out again the next night. Tyler really spoiled him: McDonalds for dinner - he got to stay and play for a whole hour, 2 packs of candy and a bug juice from the gas station, and he played wii with him! What more could a 4 year old ask for?

Playing in the snow

I took the kids out to play in the snow! We had a good time. Aunt Shantyl came out to see what we were up to. Jeremiah stood in the window and watched up! He really got excited when I came up to the window!

Josiah was so excited that he got his pirate pjs that he wanted!!! He picked them out at Target a month earlier. Makayla was super excited about her Little Miss pajamas (she'd also seen them at Target and wanted them!).

Gingerbread Village Making

This did not go as planned!!! Josiah was more excited about the bubble wrap and eating the candy! Shantyl's gingerbread house fell apart and I was just too tired! I made one and that was it.

Christmas with the girls

The girls finally got to come and open their presents! I would say this was the happiest they have ever been at Christmas! We had such a great Christmas this year!
