Mommy: I am thankful that we have some new friends that live close to us!

While I was crafting

Jeremiah loves racing toys down the hallway and around my room! He says he's fast! And ready go! He's such a doll.
My poor Josiah... sick baby. He's better today though!

Christmas Crafts

So I finally had a day to craft!!!! Josiah was sick and laid in my bed watching tv or sleeping, so I had the perfect excuse to have to stay in my room :)

I opened up my cricut FINALLY!!!! It was my birthday present back in October and I just got it out today. I love it!!!! I had the wishblade before, but I think I already love the cricut more.

Josiah started out feeling pretty good and was so excited to help me. He helped me put the diamonds on my wall. I really would love to find a new Christmas bedspread. This is our first Christmas at our new home and our old quilt just doesn't really match. I'd love something in the same scheme of colors as our room. Maybe something with snowmen or something....

The vinyl on the left wall and the garland on the stairs. I was so excited to hang the garland on the stairs!!! Just what I had envisioned :)
This year we decided to add lime green to our color scheme so I added a little green to our wreath for the front door....
Mom gave me a wreath last year after Christmas, so I decorated it for our back door!
I saw this idea from Martha Stewart and loved it. Joey says it's a little space retro (not sure if he really likes it or not, but I do!).

When Shantyl was here months ago we went to Hobby Lobby and looked around for these ideas I had. The window ornaments were one of them, and I saw this candle holder and loved it too. Fits our new color scheme perfectly!
The garland in the playroom above the entertainment center - added some lime green to it too.
I used to have this garland in the kitchen too, but there isn't space for it in our new kitchen. I added one of them to our dresser in our bedroom (way better then the clutter that was there!)
A view of the whole wall in the entry way. This was hard to take a picture of because the hall way is so narrow and yet long.
My fun and funky contemporary snowmen and Christmas tree! I drew all these files with SCAL and cut them out with my cricut. I used removable contact paper! Super cheap!!! $6 for a roll 18"x24' long! I've done all of these decorations with one roll and still have a lot left over.

There's Jeremiah with my snowman!

This is above the door to the playroom. Love the snowflake that I used, but it was a bit of a pain because it was so intricate!
I have lots more ideas to cut for the walls, but I'm not sure when I'll have time again. Hopefully soon b/c I had soooo much fun! Joey even liked the way it looked, and I was rather surprised!

Cuddling while I work on the garland

I am so thankful for how much they love each other!!!!

Day 4 of putting up Christmas Decorations

He's so excited about Christmas!!!
He was so excited to get the Christmas train all set up. Unfortanutely we didn't have enough batteries for it.
Josiah's picture of his train...

Another one by Josiah....

He's worked hard helping me get everything set up!
Although he thought it was a little too much work outside! He was eager to help (at first) and wanted to hammer the nails in, but it ended up being too much work.

Day 3 of putting up Christmas decorations

I LOOOOVE this picture! He looks so sweet and innocent. The truth is he was such a stinker today!!!! He thought the ornaments were balls and he wouldn't quit throwing them everywhere and into the tree. It was rough. Hoping the newness wears off and he will leave them alone :) Josiah has been feeling the need to do what Jeremiah does...

Day 14 - 30 Days of Thankfulness

Josiah: For playing and racing with my brother.
Mommy: I am thankful that my husband is capable of so many different things.
