No pics, no progress :(

So this morning I was going to start on my fondant after I laid Jeremiah down for his nap, but I didn't have gelatin - didn't realize I needed it.

Tiffany sent me another recipe I wanted to try, but ended up having to go to Tulsa to get an ingredient for it. The good thing was the I was able to get some Sugarveil.

Josiah and I made up a batch of the gumpaste that Tiffany gave us the recipe for, but it has to rest over night...

So after Jeremiah went to bed I decided to play.

Well the sugarveil didn't dry in 15 minutes. Don't know if I did it too thick or what... it was like marshmallow creme consistency to start....

Then I decided I'd make a trial batch of fondent while I waited...only I couldn't find the glycerin I just bought! So either I didn't make it out of the store with it or it fell out or I threw it away - the other stuff I got with it I had :(

Decided it was a night and I'm going to bed. Hopefully tomorrow goes better and I can get something done... or else I'm just going to have to get busy on this cake for this weekend! I'm going to run out of time!
