Karissa was very excited about all of her barbies! Josiah knew which packages were his by the Spiderman wrap that Santa used and he looked all over for more Spiderman presents, even when it meant he had to work really hard to dig them out!
Makayla guessed that her barbie house was a bookshelf! I hope she really enjoys playing Barbies with that huge house! She let Josiah and Karissa help her. Josiah absolutely LOVED opening the presents and was really happy with everything, but when he opened his trash can - his face said it all... "what in the world?" He and Makayla have been wanting one, so I thought they'd be happy. Makayla was more thrilled with her trashcan and measuring cups then most of the rest of the stuff! Funny how kids are. Karissa really had her sparkle back this Christmas and it was really fun to see her enjoy opening her presents. Karissa opened up a rug (which was for the playhouse step) and she was so excited! She took it back and put in front of of her bedroom door - she was so proud, I almost hated to tell her that it was for outside! She was really smart about putting things together - when she opened her mirror, she said "so I can quit looking in Makayla's mirror! I have my OWN now!". Karissa really enjoys some time in front of the mirror! She also figured out that the eraser and dry erase markers were for the dry erase boards we (Gramps and I) made. I was impressed with how well she put things to together this year!
Daddy was pretty excited about his little fridge for his shop! Daddy spoiled Mommy with some really nice gifts! Thank you Honey!
Josiah was thrilled with the kitchen! He spent lots of time cooking in there. We took it out to the playhouse and it looks really good in there with all of the new things that they got! I hope that the kids really enjoy their time out there.

There's what I call Joey's "personal vending machine" - I filled it with snacks, goodies, and things I thought they might need while they are hanging out (or should I say working) in the shop. They have a nice variety of goodies!
Santa brought Josiah a motorcyle toy that you have to kick start to make it go! How appropriate for him. It took him awhile to get the coordination down, but once he figured it out he was a pro at it. The same thing with the shoot guns that Santa brought him. I was almost afraid he wasn't going to be strong enough or coordinated enough to make them work, but by bed time he had no problems (other then not being able to find the balls or darts!).
