Back to the blog...

Well my sister left Sunday - it was bittersweet. I know that she was very anxious to get home and see her husband, get things straightened up at her own house, and get ready for her big first day of grad school. Her husband really missed her while she was here, so I know she needed to go home, but I sure did enjoy having her here! Not only because she was so HELPFUL, but because I enjoyed actually spending some time with her. It's so hard to spend much time together since we live 6 hours away. She was such a great help at the hospital and when we got home she did my laundry, cooked, did the dishes and anything else I needed help with. I can't begin to thank her enough for all of the help that she gave to me. I am excited that she told me to save my baby things and maternity stuff - for HER! Woohoo. I'm so excited that I get to pass it on to her - that means I'm going to be an Aunt (to her kids) in a couple of years. She also is the one who updated my blog! This is my first posting in awhile - hopefully I'll be able to stay caught up again. Thanks so much Shantyl for EVERYTHING you did while you were here! We appreciated it more then you will ever know.

Friday when we came home from the hospital we had this pretty flower balloon bouquet delivered by my best friend Miss Stacey! What a sweet and thoughtful gift. I can't wait till you (Stacey) get to meet him!

Jeremiah is still stuck under light table (Sunday).

Jeremiah and Josiah having a little bonding time while Jeremiah was out from the light table. I really think that Jeremiah recognizes Josiah from all the time that Josiah spent talking to him while he was in my belly! Josiah has been such a great big brother.

We had a nice visit from my friend, Miss Shannon, while we were still at the hospital and she brought us a very generous gift for the baby. Her son, Wyatt, Josiah's best buddy picked him out quite the goody bag of things. Josiah was absolutely thrilled with the airplane, cars, markers, crayons, John Deere coloring book, and Cars book! What a thoughtful friend I have found! I'm so excited to finally have a friend here in Tulsa.

I am so glad you have found a good friend, I hope she turns out to be your "Jamie". How sweet of them to bring gifts to both boys. Very nice Stacey thought of you with flowers. I'm glad its your turn to go visit her this year! I am already looking forward to babysitting. Shantyl was so excited for Jeremiah to arrive and I'm so glad he timed it before she started school.

Yeah...you're back! Thanks Shantyl for posting pictures and updates while Lorena was 'out!' I REALLY appreciated being in the loop being so far away! So thanks!

Thanks for posting the picture of the flowers...hope they'll bring some extra color for you. Hope you'll enjoy them for a bit longer.

That was SO sweet of Shannon to come and see you and bring you gifts! Love you!

I really enjoyed my time with you too! I always look forward to your visits and spending time with you!! Unfortunately they never seem long enough! It was definitely nice to have some sister time and was hard for me to leave, yet knowing BJ was waiting was drawing me back!I'm so glad that Josiah is still enjoying being a big brother and that Jeremiah is out from under the table...if only he would figure out "meal time"!
