Brothers

These 2 boys... they just make me so happy! They love each other. The only problem is that Josiah constantly wants to love on him and that means that I have to have a constant eye on him because he doesn't completely understand that Jeremiah is a baby and that he has to be extra gentle with him. He just wants to hug and kiss him all the time.

I wanted to get some pictures of Jeremiah, but of course that meant that Josiah wanted to get his picture taken too! He thought this picture was so funny with his "big head" in the picture!

I'm not sure what Jeremiah was doing last night, but he was sure trying to move around and look around.

Josiah giving him more kisses!

I was going to bed early, so Josiah said he'd tuck me in. He got in bed and cuddled with me and we had a nice little chat. We talked about some of his favorite things:
color: pink and purple - not brown, black or white
movie: Max & Ruby, Lightning McQueen, and Supercross
food: ice cream
drink: pop
toy: tractors
We talked about all his body parts and he learned ankle and for some reason he just thought that was so funny.
He doesn't really say I love you very often. Not sure if he totally understands it. If I tell him "I love you" he says, why? He told me that he liked me a whole lot! That makes me just as happy! I know that he understands that and I'm glad he likes his mama a whole lot. Then he covered me up and patted my chest (exactly what I do to him!). He's such a happy good boy.
Josiah and Karissa stayed with Joey while Makayla, Jeremiah and I did some running around. When we got home Josiah kept trying to tell me a story with all the kids names in it, but he kept including Makayla cause he's so used to Makayla and Karissa being together... he'd say her name and realize that she wasn't really there and he'd get this shy smile on his face, cover his face, then do it all over again, it was so cute because he really struggled to not include her name in the story.
Makayla has really grown up and turned into such a sweet loving little girl. I really enjoyed shopping with her last night! The lady at Hobby Lobby said she was a good little baby sitter (she was talking to Josiah while we got a cut of tulle). Then when we got home I glued pompoms on her socks for silly sock day (pictures tomorrow).
Karissa talked to Jeremiah when he was lonely and I was trying to clean the table off for dinner! She was a great big sister (she's just anxious for him to get big enough to actually play). She also helped me by setting the table - she's a great helper.

Aww, I enjoyed the pictures and learning new stuff about my nephew! I didn't know that pink and purple were his favorite. Makayla sure has grown up! I couldn't believe how different she was when I saw her! She is definitely a great big sister. That story about Josiah is so cute, it reminds me of when you were here and he kept trying to tell me a story but decided it was too much work and gave up! Jeremiah sure does seem to be an active little boy. I bet he will crawl earlier than "normal".
