New fridge...

With our big family we really needed a bigger fridge! Friday night the one we wanted was on sale 10% off so we decided to go ahead and buy it! Joey knew he was going to have to trim down our pantry cabinet b/c the knew fridge wouldn't fit where the old fridge was (he should have listened to his wife when he built the pantry cabinet!). Whenever he started working he came up with a totally different idea! I am going to have a lot more cabinet space AND I'm going to get to keep my mixer on the counter!!!!!! Yeah!!!! However, it made him a LOT more work and cost a lot more money. He stayed up till 2 last night working.

Our neighbor, "little Joey" helped Joey last night till about midnight.

I felt kind of bad because they'd already hung these top 2 cabinets when I realized I still wasn't going to be able to put my mixer on the counter! They had to take them back off and raise them up!
There's our new fridge! The kids were all anxious about getting the magnets on the new fridge! The kids were ALL so helpful yesterday! They helped move all the food and things out of the pantry to the table. Then everything from the old fridge to the new fridge! Makayla was especially helpful though - she helped me move everything from the computer desk to my scrapbook room and then helped me get the desk into my room! Then she helped me clean out the old fridge (it's going in the storage building for extra food/drinks so that our fridge won't be so packed any more!). Needless to say we have quite a mess at our place right now! I think it's really going to pay off having all that extra counter space!!!

This morning Makayla and Josiah helped me start putting things in the cabinet. We got to a stopping point because Joey had to make some more cabinet shelves to help make things more organized. Jeremiah wanted to check things out, so I put him in his high chair in the kitchen with us... guess watching us work made him tired!

I am so glad your kids are so helpful! I know what you mean about Makayla being a great helper. She was wonderful here packing our picnic lunch with such care. Jeremiah looks like he will be a supervisor. Work exhausts him, even watching others work.

Lol, mom your funny. Makayla is an amazing helper, all of them are! I love the new cabinets and counter space and the fridge! I think that it was a wise investment!

Ok, so why does Joey not listen to his intelligent wife when she makes a suggestion? After all these years he should realize she is so smart and has a big dose of common sense from her momma! Is it cause he's an OKIE? I won't pick too much since I didn't have to see his crack in any pictures! If I didn't love you Joey, I wouldn't pick!
