The pool....

I have spent weeks trying to get the pool ready! I have spent a ton of money trying to get it ready! And still it was green/brown and gross.... and the chemical levels were within range. So, I decided to drain it and start over! Fortunately it wasn't covered in algae - actually it was just full of dirt!!!!!!! Ugh. It's from the guys riding on the track and blowing all the dirt from the track into the pool.

I spent all day yesterday getting the water out and cleaning out all the dirt. Joey came out yesterday evening and helped me suck the rest of the water/dirt out. It was a 2 person job! The kids played while we worked - they are so anxious to get in the pool!

This morning the pool was filled with nice clean water!!! There are just a few leaves and a little bit of dirt. They'll be swimming soon (it's way too cold for me!)

Oh yeah that's me in my green boots, so I wouldn't get all wet and nasty! Haha...
