Fire department field trip

The kids were so excited to go to the fire department today! They were so good too! We got there and were waiting with everyone. Denise and Shannon were talking about how many people were actually going to be there and then Denise said yes, well when I RSVPed that we were half the people! Haha... I said I know we usually double the number if I have the girls!

They got to climb inside and take a look! Josiah actually got in too!

Another mom wanted her daughter to look, but she got all of my kids attention!

Karissa wanted her picture taken with the lady fire figther.

I wasn't able to get Makayla's picture b/c there were too many kids in there when she sat with her. Makayla asked me and I told her I wasn't able to, so the firefighter let her get back in (they were so patient with all of us taking pictures) and of course Josiah stepped in right before we got the picture!

One more time...

This picture cracks me up! I had no idea that Reed (the little girl beside Karissa) was making that face until I pulled up the pictures on the computer!!!

They let each of the kids have a turn spraying the water!

When they were done, one of the fire fighters came over to Karissa and asked if she had a turn. She said yes, and he said, are you sure? It doesn't look like it... mama doesn't look wet! Haha. Thank goodness I didn't get soaked!

Don't you love how Makayla stood to hold the hose? I think she looks like she could be on "America's next Top Model" doing something and still looking like a model! Jessica (one of the mom's) thought it looked like she was really getting after it!
