I took the kids to Lowe's this morning to build a treasure chest. It was a tough one! We were there the entire hour! We finally managed to get all three built. They had a great time, but the last 15 minutes they got frustrated and were ready to have them built. I was so impressed with their skills and their persistence. I was really nervous taking all 4 of them by myself b/c of course it was right during Jeremiah's nap time. We are at such a hard stage right now - either Jeremiah doesn't get to nap, or the big kids have to miss out on things. Well I decided we'd go anyways and I'm glad we did. Jeremiah actually fell asleep within a few minutes - I can't believe he slept through all of the hammering!
It was packed this morning - we ended up having to sit on the floor! They had to turn people away this morning. We have to make sure we are EARLY next time. I would hate for the kids to miss out.
I finally got the patches sewn on the kids aprons! Now I have 3 more to sew on!!!
There's my happy baby - he woke up the last few minutes! Shannon and her family were already there sitting on the floor so we joined them. I had Jeremiah in the stroller, but put him in the cart so we could watch him.

Makayla looks like a professional with her face mask on. I'm so glad that you are able to take them out and do things even though you have Jeremiah with a nap schedule. The little treasure chests turned out great.
