When my grandma lived in the same town as us there were several things that she made that were our favorites - biscuits, cinnamon bread, mac n cheese... those were a few of our favorites.
My mom got the recipe from her yesterday (FINALLY!)
They were pretty tasty too. Joey said he liked them with jelly, but not with gravy. He said they were definitely unique.
Grandma Rhoda's Biscuits
2 c. flour
1 tea. salt
3 tea. baking powder
5 TAB shortening (crisco)
3/4 c. milk
stir dry ingredients
cut in shortening until pea size
add milk
stir
knead on floured surface 5-6 times.
Bake 400 15 min or till brown
