My little Kitchen Helper

Today I had to do a lot more cleaning since I didn't do nearly as much last week with all of the snow days. Wanted to make the days extra special for the boys, but since it looks like this whole week is going to be a snow week I figured we better get the house spiffed back up!

Tonight Jeremiah helped me make No Bake Cookies. Yummy.

He has so much patience... even managed to open the butter up all by himself !

Pouring int he chocolate chips! I couldn't believe he didn't try to sneak any.

Of course I gave him a few to taste :)

Yeah, he was really happy!

The Recipe:

Best No Bakes

1 stick butter

1/2 cup evaporated milk

1 cup sugar

1/4 cup peanut butter

1/2 cup chocolate chips

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

2+ cups oatmeal

Put the first 3 ingredients in a microwave safe bowl.

Microwave 3 minutes or until boiling.

Stir.

Stir in the next 3 ingredients.

Add oatmeal. I usually find that it takes more then 2 cups of oatmeal. Just enough so that it's not drippy.
